About 2018 Meeting Costs

Our monthly meeting is an important way to stay connected, take away new ideas and perspectives, stay up to date on industry trends, meet colleagues, and even find opportunities. For many years, the chapter held the meeting fee at $15 for members to encourage attendance and make the meetings accessible. Naturally, the market did not see things exactly as we did. All costs related to holding the meetings have increased continually over these many years and have made the long-standing price point unsustainable.

After deferring this adjustment for a very long time, meeting fees have been increased slightly, as follows:

  • AFP and TAPPP members: $18.
  • Non-members: $25.
  • Late reservations will continue to be assessed an additional $5.00 fee.
  • Prospective members may still attend their first luncheon at no cost.
  • Speakers will continue to be our guest at our cost.
  • Webinars, sponsored by the Toledo Community Foundation, will continue to be offered at no cost.

Payment & Refund Policy

The AFPNWO Chapter accepts credit card payments only, and all payments must be received in advance. If you do not pay by the registration deadline, you will be charged the additional $5.00 late fee. If you make a reservation, you are responsible for the fee even if you do not attend. Cancellations must be received by the posted reservation deadline to be eligible for a refund or non-payment.

Your Career. Your Plan.

  • Nick Kulik, CFRE - Director of Development, College of Engineering, University of Toledo Foundation
  • Vern Snyder, ACFRE - Vice President for Institutional Advancement, The University of Toledo Foundation (retired)

Fundraising professionals can be great strategic thinkers developing next steps for major gift prospects, creating unique events and shaping new tactics to increase philanthropic support. But how often do we put the same amount of thought into our own career? As fundraising professionals, we dedicate a lot of time and energy into capital campaign strategies, but tend to forget our careers need just as much attention. Whether you are a young or seasoned professional this presentation will help you plan for the next step of your career.
